Thank you for this journey and trip down memory lane!

I’m at least a decade older, but how things changed in Singapore in that decade! There was no tuna in my 1960s childhood (and no backpacks, and you didn’t bring food to school!.)

The closest were sardine sandwiches with chili and onions that somehow only turned up at birthday parties!

I first had a tuna sandwich when we moved to D..C in 1970, and they mixed in raw celery which put me off tuna sandwiches for years…
